I just wiped out the entire forum.
I swear I could cry. I have backups but it's been a while. I feel sick, I was doing a ton of uploading and wanted to move a forum and tried and instead I hit copy, then I couldn't see the forums at all. Then I went to the admin control panel and saw a duplicate boomfox forum and thought maybe that was why and deleted it and it took away EVERYTHING.
I am just so sick about it all.
Hmmm...I thought it looked a little different here just now.
Is there any way that you can retrieve your backups?
Or, could your internet provider have a backup?
Oh well, every now and then, it is nice to start with a clean slate. So, now might be just the right time.

I do have some backups stored on my computer but they're from quite a ways back, but at least all the forums and permanent stuff should still be there...I just didn't want to lose all of the current news stories/pix from Karen and her baby etc.
I'll restore the most current backup on saturday. In the mean time this is it till then.

Okay, so you already know that I am not the sharpest crayon in the box, but if you copied something and then you saw a duplicate boomfox forum and deleted the duplicate, would you still maybe have the original somewhere?
In other words, if you deleted something, wouldn't you have just deleted one copy but maybe the other copy is still floating around somewhere?
Okay, so what I just said probably doesn't make any sense at all, and you have still more confirmation that I am not the sharpest crayon in the box.
Eh- you should have just said you were spring cleaning...

Well Kit, I do enjoy a nice TIDY place to visit.
I think you were doing us a favor by spring cleaning and making it easier to get around on the forum. You know with only one or two things to click on now maybe I won't get lost when I'm here.
It won't be long and we'll be back to "normal"(whatever normal is).
After reading all that you were doing with Obama files I would NOT say you are stupid at all.
