Don't worry, I still LOVE being a mom, and I wouldn't trade my age & experiences for anything. That being said, my hubby's cousin's "friend" from Ireland is about to embark on an amazing journey... His plan is to ride on his motorcycle from Alaska to the tip of South America.

Here's the email from DH's uncle:

"I wanted to ask all of you, on behalf of Erin's good friend, Patrick, if you know of anyone along the route of his planned trip, who may be willing to allow him to pitch a tent in their yard, or direct him to a place in the area where he could. He leaves Tuesday morning for Anchorage, Alaska, and will travel through Alaska, the West coast of Canada and the USA, Mexico, Central America, and the West Coast of South America. I'm sure it's a long shot that you may know someone willing to allow a traveling Irish lad to contact them if he is in the area, but thought I would check anyway. If there is anyone, I would need to hear back by tomorrow evening."

So, is anyone here on the west coast?

Is he going to be near AZ?

Unfortunately, no (I don't think so). I think he's planning on hugging the coastline as much as possible. If that changes, can I contact you?

You sure can. :-)

I am no where near where he will be, but if he gets lost, on the wrong road or whatever, tell him he is welcomed here. Of course, I would have to be way over in North Georgia. What an ambition. I so admire his energy too. Amazing. Keep us updated on what you may hear from him.
