I pulled these pages from a book called "The Trial of Scott Nearing" There are several other instances of this same statement by the congressman mentioned, it is quoted in SEVERAL articles from that era. I only pulled it from one but if anyone needs to see more proof all you will have to do is go to google books and type "congressional record for 1917 + J.P. Morgan" and you should see several references to it.
